HER LAST INTERVIEW
LUCIE AUBRAC ON DVD
Lucie Aubrac died on 14 March 2007. This interview was filmed at her home on 20 September 2006. With great emotion, Lucie Aubrac reminisces about the Resistance in Lyons during the Second World War. She re-lives her missions, including a spectacular prison break by her husband Raymond Aubrac, and remembers fleeing to England only to return once France had been liberated.
Life in Lyons under the German occupation is captured in pictures taken by the great photographers André Gamet and Blanc & Demilly, and in archives from the Centre d'Histoire de la Résistance et de la Déportation (Resistance and Deportation Museum).
Throughout her entire life, Lucie Aubrac fought for cherished values including Freedom, Fraternity and Resistance. This film is a tribute to a great lady, to her achievements and to her convictions.
